How to give

Deciding to live in a retirement community isn’t always an easy choice. It’s a big decision and often a major expense. With the rising cost of construction, utilities, transportation, and food, the challenge is even greater today. That’s why donations, planned giving, and benevolence are essential programs at The Village—they offset rising costs and allow us to deliver affordable retirement living and Christian Science nursing care to the members of our movement who have given so much of themselves over the years.

The tax-deductible contributions that The Village receives range from small, individual donations to substantial bequests. Many contributors to The Village choose to donate a portion of their estate as a part of a larger estate plan developed with their own financial planner. In these instances, The Village cooperates by providing all of the necessary documentation to assist in the process.
